Jake Hill has become the latest talented driver to sign-up with Element79. Jake, from Goudhurst in Kent has only just turned 17 years of age, but has already developed a mature and race-winning driving pedigree, which has been recognised by the British Racing Drivers Club prestigious award of ‘Rising Star’.

Element79 will provide Jake with sponsorship search and procurement services for the next year, as part of his programme to compete in the Ginetta G50 Supercup racing series. Jake shone in a recent test of the 300bhp racer at Silverstone, and looks set to continue his winning performances from the Ginetta G40 Junior Championship in the previous two seasons.

Element79 Director, Mike Flarry commented “we’re absolutely delighted to be providing services to Jake, he’s a lovely chap and has real natural talent, which he’s learnt to use maturely at a very early stage in his career – I’m sure he’ll go a long way in the sport”.

Jake’s Dad Simon raced in series such as Formula Renault, Renault Spiders and Lotus Sport Elise, and is now part of the commentary team for ITV Sport on the BTCC and its support races. During his career he was able to create numerous corporate partnerships that enabled him to race, and feels Jake already has much more to offer. He added “Jake has grown up around racing, is focused on making it his career, and has the highest level of natural talent I’ve seen in all my years as a driver coach and instructor”.
